We’ll begin with a demo of the very meditative process of making ink on a grinding stone and move on to the brush strokes that will evoke the spirit of our subject. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nToday\, I’ll show you how to use sumi-e brushes and inks to mimic this lovely acrylic painting of a ‘Cathedral in the Clouds’ that some of you painted with me a few years ago.
