A beloved technique that inspires meditative simplicity\,  Today we’ll do a study of a piece by Yun Shouping using inks and acrylics. I thoroughly enjoy using the sumi-e brush and even grinding a little ink so am really looking forward to sharing the technique with you😊\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nAs is often the case in Zan’s classes\, emphasis will be on technique with encouragement to play with colors and forms if desired.\n\nGeared toward the beginner and experienced painter alike\, you will walk away empowered and excited to apply what you’ve learned!  \nZan believes that the chance results that occur when using serendipitous techniques fosters increased creativity and an intimate connection with whatever medium one is working with. DESCRIPTION:Explore the unique joys of working with acrylics – one of the most versatile and forgiving mediums of them all. \n\n\n\nToday we will paint ‘Florida Moonrise’ -inspired by a dear friend’s striking photo taken on a visit some years ago . I love painting the full moon and bright twinkling lights of the buildings and look forward to showing you how to make them glow!!😊\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThis class is offered at Thomas Place as part of the Community Outreach Program for The City of Fort Worth and requires sign up through them. \nIn a nutshell\, if you wish to take one class at a time (this class is $35 + supplies & a nominal annual membership fee) you will sign up there the day of class or you may sign up for the entire month at a discount online (or at the Community Center).
