SUMMARY:Unleash Your Inner Artist with Serendipitous Techniques Soft Pastels Cherry Blossom Reflections Revisited
DESCRIPTION: \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDiscover the unique joys of this powdery medium. It is considered both a drawing and a painting medium and is extremely versatile \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nToday we will explore using soft pastels to create the impressionistic ‘Cherry Tree Reflections Revisited’.  Some of you have painted a similar version using acrylic paints\, so how fun to use the luscious colors and opportunities to express our inner artist using soft pastels instead!  We’ll use an alcohol wash on a sanded paper made with clear gesso… I can’t wait to show you how!\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nAs is often the case in Zan’s classes\, emphasis will be on technique with encouragement to play with colors and forms if desired.\nGeared toward the beginner and experienced painter alike\, you will walk away empowered and excited to apply what you’ve learned!  Zan believes that the chance results that occur when using serendipitous techniques fosters increased creativity and an intimate connection with whatever medium one is working with.
