DESCRIPTION: \n\n\n\n\nToday we’ll use acrylics and fun techniques using palette knives and catalyst tools​ to paint a​n abstracted slice of ‘Seattle Skyline’ ​. While we’re at it we’ll discuss the power of color to affect mood with the option of changing your own selections in color to do so! Thank you Melissa VC for the permission to use your photo as inspiration 😊 \n\n\n\n\nAs is often the case in Zan’s classes\, emphasis will be on technique with encouragement to play with colors and forms if desired.\n\nGeared toward the beginner and experienced painter alike\, you will walk away empowered and excited to apply what you’ve learned!  \nZan believes that the chance results that occur when using serendipitous techniques fosters increased creativity and an intimate connection with whatever medium one is working with. DESCRIPTION:Expand on the inherent versatility of acrylics by adding other mediums\, specialty papers\, 3D embellishments\, etc. to create your masterpiece! Your imagination is your only limitation!\n\n\n\n\n\n\nI love flowers so am excited about sharing my process in creating ‘Flower Power!’. There are lots of layers on this including the use of paint pens\, ripped papers and stamped elements to add additional texture and definition😊\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThis class is offered at Thomas Place as part of the Community Outreach Program for The City of Fort Worth and requires sign up through them. \nIn a nutshell\, if you wish to take one class at a time (this class is $45 + supplies & a nominal annual membership fee) you will sign up there the day of class or you may sign up for the entire month at a discount online (or at the Community Center).
