DESCRIPTION: \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nDiscover the unique joys of this powdery medium. It is considered both a drawing and a painting medium and is extremely versatile \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nToday we will use soft pastels to create the impressionistic ‘Lago Vista Field’.   I just love the luscious colors and opportunities to express our inner artist with this one and can’t wait to show you how! We’ll use an alcohol wash on a sanded paper which I’ll show you how to make using clear gesso\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nAs is often the case in Zan’s classes\, emphasis will be on technique with encouragement to play with colors and forms if desired.\nGeared toward the beginner and experienced painter alike\, you will walk away empowered and excited to apply what you’ve learned!  Zan believes that the chance results that occur when using serendipitous techniques fosters increased creativity and an intimate connection with whatever medium one is working with.
