DESCRIPTION:Capturing the Essence – one of the reasons I love working with Sumi-e brushes and ink prepared with a stone. A beloved technique that inspires meditative simplicity\,  Today we’ll do a study of a piece by Yun Shouping using inks and acrylics. I thoroughly enjoy using the sumi-e brush and even grinding a little ink so am really looking forward to sharing the technique with you😊\n\n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nAs is often the case in Zan’s classes\, emphasis will be on technique with encouragement to play with colors and forms if desired.\n\nGeared toward the beginner and experienced painter alike\, you will walk away empowered and excited to apply what you’ve learned!  \nZan believes that the chance results that occur when using serendipitous techniques fosters increased creativity and an intimate connection with whatever medium one is working with.
