Capturing Blooms in Acrylics with Zan!!

I’m super excited to announce my new collaboration with BRIT (the Botanical Research Institute of Texas at the Botanic Gardens) to present an acrylic workshop series in their Adult Education program – Capturing Blooms in Acrylics with Zan!  Located on the Botanic Gardens grounds here in Fort Worth the BRIT building is a lovely facility whose mission is “to conserve our natural heritage by deepening our knowledge of the plant world and achieving public understanding of the value plants bring to life.”  As many of you know, this is a subject dear to my heart, so it brings me great pleasure to be given the opportunity to be a part of their education program by sharing fun serendipitous techniques to paint Mother Nature’s glorious flowers! Dripping, spattering, scratching and sprinkling salt, we’ll build on each session using new tools and techniques to capture the essence of the lovely blooms of Spring and Summer.   Whether you’ve been painting with me for a long time or have never picked up a paint brush, this course is for you!

  • 4 session workshop on Wednesday’s in May – 4, 11, 18, 25
  • Time – 9:30am-12:30pm
  • Registration Deadline – May 1
  • $250/Non Member or $215/Member
  • Material list attached and available on sign up page (some supplies included) If you have taken my classes before, we use the same supplies! Please don’t let it stop you from coming if there is something small you don’t have – I am sure we can share while you’re getting set up!
