| Learn how to capture the essence of a subject with simplicity and spontaneity using traditional sumi brushes and black ink. We’ll begin with a demo of the very meditative process of making ink on a grinding stone and move on to the brush strokes that will evoke the spirit of our subject!
I’ll show you how to use a sumi-e brush and inks to capture the essence of the traditional sumi-e subject wild orchids and we’ll add some butterflies too!😊 |
