Bountiful Blooms Acrylics Workshop!!

I’m super excited to announce my new collaboration with BRIT (the Botanical Research Institute of Texas at the Botanic Gardens) to present an all day acrylic workshop in their Adult Education program – Bountiful Blooms Acrylics Workshop!  Located on the Botanic Gardens grounds here in Fort Worth the BRIT building is a lovely facility whose mission is “to conserve our natural heritage by deepening our knowledge of the plant world and achieving public understanding of the value plants bring to life.”  As many of you know, this is a subject dear to my heart, so it brings me great pleasure to be given the opportunity to be a part of their education program by sharing fun serendipitous techniques to paint Mother Nature’s glorious flowers! In the morning the emphasis will be on guided technique and encouragement to play with various tools, including a catalyst wedge in preparation for the afternoon. After lunch, I will be painting along with you, using the techniques you have practiced, to guide you step by step in the creation of your own unique painting.

Geared toward the beginner and experienced painter alike, you will walk away empowered and excited to apply what you’ve learned!
