Today we’ll paint ‘Ready for Market’ – An oldie but goodie from the Grumbacher lesson plan file, just in time for Fall decorating!😊

This class is offered at Betsy Price Community Center as part of the Community Outreach Program for The City of Fort Worth and requires sign up through them.

In a nutshell, if you wish to take one class at a time (this class is $35 + supplies & a nominal membership fee) you will sign up there the day of class or you may sign up for the entire month at a discount online (or at the Community Center). Today we will paint ‘Florida Moonrise’ -inspired by a dear friend’s striking photo taken on a visit some years ago . I love painting the full moon and bright twinkling lights of the buildings and look forward to showing you how to make them glow!!!😊

 
As is often the case in Zan’s classes, emphasis will be on technique with encouragement to play with colors and forms if desired.

Geared toward the beginner and experienced painter alike, you will walk away empowered and excited to apply what you’ve learned! 

Zan believes that the chance results that occur when using serendipitous techniques fosters increased creativity and an intimate connection with whatever medium one is working with. Hence, it is one of her favorite ways to connect herself and her students to their inner artist and it’s FUN too!!

Today we’ll use a few special techniques like glazing and spattering to paint ‘Jack-o’-Lanterns in Space’😊 It will be very easy to alter the carvings on the pumpkins if it strikes your inner artist to do so – of course I’ll show you how!
