This class is offered at Thomas Place as part of the Community Outreach Program for The City of Fort Worth and requires sign up through them.

Today we’ll paint the striking ‘Butterfly Silhouette’  inspired by an awesome photo from Marianna Bond! I’ll show you an easy way to blend the rainbow colors of the sky and it will be easy to change the butterflies to a focus of your choosing – birds or flowers maybe? 😊

The awesome photos from the Webb telescope have been much in the news lately, so I thought it would be fun to paint a cosmic image ourselves! We’ll use iridescent medium and glazes of color to create a celestial painting all our own. As is so often the case, it will be easy to shift the colors – of course I will be happy to show you how!
