This little pink flowering beauty holds a special place in my heart (and being a prolific reseeder all over my garden 🤣)
Jewels of Opar (Talinum paniculatum) showed up unexpectedly one year after digging some of my Mom's lovely perennials for my modest garden before she moved away. With its ability to spring up in the most unlikely places it was not always welcome there in Mom & Dad's gardens but it's exuberant indestructability is a great source of memories & joy for me 😄🥰

I'm really looking forward to the Blooming Acrylics Workshop Replay coming up this Saturday Sept 16th on the beautiful Fort Worth Botanic Garden grounds in the BRIT building!
