As you may know, I am honored to have had 2 pieces in the show - 'A Place to Dream' has sold (a heartfelt thank you to the buyer) but 'Make a Wish' is still available 😄

There is a mystical charm inherent in the bokeh effect that I find quite enchanting!
In order to capture the effect with my brush instead of a camera, I used many thin overlays of paint and took obvious liberties with color to create the mystical feel of the painting. I even strategically used iridescent medium to intensify the out of focus shimmer. Ahh the many wonders of Mother Nature!
